Antoine Caudwell the former director of the research laboratory on plant mycoplasma and arboviruses, INRA, Dijon, France has made available a report that compiles ten years work to solve the riddle of grapevine Flavescence dorée. Click here to download the report.

Meetings of Interest

The "International Conference on Bovine Mycoplasmosis" was held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada on July 7-9th 2009. Details can be found on the the website: http://www.bovinemycoplasma.ca/.

The German Symposium of Mycoplasmology was held on June 25-27, 2009 in Morschach, Switzerland. Details can be found here.

The First Phytoplasmologist's Working Group Meeting was held in Bologna, Italy on November 12-15th, 2007. The meeting titles can be found at http://www.bulletinofinsectology.org in the Bulletin of Insectology. This is also the location where can order abstract books of the meeting.

A collection of papers on genome analysis in Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Mycoplasma synoviae has been recently published in the journal Genetics and Molecular Biology. Strain Availability

Kim Wise has announced the availability of two Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides SC strains. Information can be obtained by clicking here. The genome sequence of Mycoplasma Bovine Group 7 is complete and will soon be available. For information, click here.
